After 25+ years of providing counseling I find my philosophy has grown simpler and more to the point.
Successful counseling is built on a positive and trusting relationship, much as successful living is dependent on trusting, healthy relationships. I bring a broad array of treatment tools to my work including gestalt, object relations and psychodynamic theory. Most importantly I bring myself; my heart, my humor, my understanding, knowledge and years of experience. The counseling process can open painful places inside you, there is no reason why laughter can't be part of the journey. I work to make our time together comfortable, exciting and engaging. I counsel with adults and children, couples and groups (this includes families).
